There are designated areas where dogs can swim, including near the boat launch. He spent hours chasing sticks in the water and making new friends. It’s refreshing to find a place that doesn’t just tolerate pets but truly welcomes them as part of the family experience. Seeing him so happy made our trip even more memorable.

While the resort has more than enough to keep you occupied, we recommend taking a short drive to the nearby town of Eganville, in the Bonnechere valley. This charming community is a great place to explore for an afternoon.
You can wander through local shops, grab a bite to eat at a cafe, and learn a bit about the area’s history. It’s a nice change of pace and a great way to support the local community. The drive itself is scenic, taking you through the beautiful landscapes of the Ottawa Valley.
